To complement its range of commercial wheel products, TIA Wheels now has its own brand of Forged Aluminium wheels – not a new product, but a new entrant offered from people with approximately 20 years’ experience in the truck, bus and trailer industry.
These wheels are made from the same quality grade of Aluminium 6061 T6 heat treatment. As the market leaders, it is a true forging from a solid billet, flow formed and CNC machined to exact tolerances. They also come with TUV test certification.
Alloy wheels are expensive and often considered as a luxury or expensive necessity; at TIA Wheels we hope to bridge the gap between expensive and affordable for those whose budgets, up to now, have been just beyond current price levels.
Currently, we offer two finishes of machined and polished, with sizes 8.25 x 22.5, 9.00 x 22.5 and 11.75 x 22.5 ET0 and ET120.
The attributes of lighter weights, better heat dissipation, and truer run-out due to CNC machining offer benefits of:
- Reduced chassis weight – more payload
- Reduced heat effect aiding tyre and brake wear
- Reduced tyre and bearing wear due to truer run-out
TIA Wheels has worked with its current manufacturing partner to ensure that the standards are fully compliant with ETRTO, EUWA and to the level its existing and prospective customers expect that satisfy the OE and Aftermarket sectors. They come with a 5 year warranty.
